Personal Story
我叫XXX, 今年21歲, 是一個(gè)十分樂(lè)觀向上的青年。在北京市北方交通大學(xué)附屬中學(xué)畢業(yè)后, 考入北京青年政治學(xué)院泰爾弗商務(wù)分院, 所學(xué)專業(yè)為國(guó)際商務(wù), 在大學(xué)老師們辛勤培養(yǎng)下學(xué)到許多國(guó)際貿(mào)易、商務(wù)方面的知識(shí)。參加了一些社會(huì)實(shí)習(xí)活動(dòng), 極大提高了自己的能力。畢業(yè)后, 到英國(guó)的Hastings College 學(xué)習(xí)碩士預(yù)科課程。
I am Cai Liyang, 21, optimistic and ambitious.
After my graduation from the high school attached to Beijing Jiaotong University,
I was admitted to Beijing Youth Politics College Telfort Business Institute,
majoring in International Business.
Under the conscientious cultivation of my teachers,
I acquired an extensive knowledge of international trade and business.
And my experiences of internship greatly enhanced my abilities.
Then, after graduation,
I went to Britain to study Master's Degree preparatory courses at Hastings College.
初到一個(gè)陌生而又神奇的國(guó)度, 開(kāi)始很不習(xí)慣, 我努力適應(yīng)新的環(huán)境, 結(jié)交新的朋友, 正確對(duì)待兩國(guó)文化、教育方面的差異。在英國(guó)期間, 我自覺(jué)遵守當(dāng)?shù)氐姆芍贫?span lang="EN-US" style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">, 尊重當(dāng)?shù)氐娘L(fēng)俗習(xí)慣。時(shí)間久了, 我感受到英國(guó)人民的友好、善良。我和英國(guó)老師、房東都能相處得很好, 成了好朋友, 送給他們有中國(guó)特色的小禮物, 如: 中國(guó)結(jié)、鼻煙壺等。他們對(duì)我也很關(guān)照。同時(shí)也結(jié)交了很多德國(guó)、西班牙的留學(xué)生, 開(kāi)拓自己的視野。母校北京青年政治學(xué)院的老師也經(jīng)常關(guān)心我們的生活和學(xué)習(xí), 使我在學(xué)習(xí)能力、生活能力方面有了很大的進(jìn)步。
As a stranger to this exotic and mysterious land,
I felt quite out of place at the beginning.
But then I began to try to adapt myself to the new environment,
make new friends, properly treat the difference between China and England in culture
and education.
During my stay here,
I have been conscientiously abide by the local laws and regulations and
respecting the local customs and practices. As time goes on,
I am coming to feel the friendliness and kindness of the British people.
I am getting very well with my English teachers,
host, and we have become good friends.
I have even given such small gifts of Chinese characteristics as
Chinese Knots and snuff bottle. And in return, they have shown me
much care. Besides, I have made friends with many fellow students
from Germany and Spain, and consequently my visions have been
much broadened. My former teachers at Beijing Youth Politics
College have also given me consistent care and attention in my study
and life, and that has been playing an indispensable part in my great
progress in these aspects.
到英國(guó)后, 從聽(tīng)課到日常購(gòu)物、辦事全是英語(yǔ)環(huán)境。短短幾個(gè)月, 使我的聽(tīng)力、口語(yǔ)水平進(jìn)步很快, 達(dá)到6.5分。在學(xué)習(xí)上, 老師經(jīng)常讓我們自己查閱資料, 這鍛煉了我的自學(xué)能力和獨(dú)立分析問(wèn)題的能力。我積極參與市場(chǎng)調(diào)查等實(shí)踐活動(dòng), 鍛煉了我口頭交流的能力, 培養(yǎng)了團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。
The moment I set foot in Britain, I have been in an English Only
environment, from attending classes, daily shopping, attending to
various affairs. A brief period of several months saw my quick progress
in listening and oral English, and I was beginning to get a score of 6.5.
In study, the teachers always tell us to look up materials for ourselves,
and this has been of much help in cultivating my ability of independent s
tudy and analysis of problems. I have been active in the participating in
practice activities such as market surveys, which not only have given me
opportunities to improve my oral English in terms of communication,
but also fostered in me a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation.
我性格上最大的特點(diǎn)是開(kāi)朗、熱情、外向、廣交朋友, 十分善于和人相處。當(dāng)和別人有矛盾時(shí), 總能為他人著想, 寬于待人。我認(rèn)為每個(gè)人都有自身的優(yōu)點(diǎn)和長(zhǎng)項(xiàng)。團(tuán)隊(duì)的力量可彌補(bǔ)個(gè)人能力的缺陷, 與人交流思想可開(kāi)拓自己的眼界。我養(yǎng)成與人合作、與人討論的習(xí)慣, 傾聽(tīng)別人不同的意見(jiàn)。
It is most characteristic of me to be optimistic, enthusiastic, outgoing, to
make many friends, and to be good mixer. Whenever conflicts arise,
I am always the one to think for the other party and be tolerant. I am c
onvinced that everyone has his / her share of strong points and weak
points, that a team can make up for what is deficient for every individual,
and that communicating with others can broaden our visions. I
have formed a habit of cooperating with others, discussing things with
them and listening to different voices.
我想到英國(guó)的Sunderland of University 深造學(xué)習(xí), 學(xué)習(xí)international management。這和我的性格相符, 未來(lái)的世界是一個(gè)開(kāi)放的交流的世界, 我渴望學(xué)習(xí)國(guó)際商務(wù)的管理知識(shí)和國(guó)際貿(mào)易方面的法律法規(guī), 今后回國(guó)從事這方面的工作。
I am planning for my further study at the University of Sunderland,
where I will take International Management. This is a natural choice of mine
. The world in the future is one of openness and mutual communication.
I am eager to have a knowledge of international business and laws and
regulations related to international trade, and I am going to be engaged
in relevant work when I am back home
